Senior partner Asa Hutchinson debated against the proposition that "America is to blame for Mexico's drug war." The debate took place in New York at the Skirball Center from 6:45 p.m to 8:30 p.m. on December 1, 2009.
Speaking for the proposition were panelists Andrews Martinez, New America Foundation; Jeff Miron, Harvard economist; Fareed Zakaria, Newsweek columnist/Newsweek International Editor.
Speaking against the proposition were panelists Jorge Castaneda, former foreign Minister of Mexico; Chris Cox, chief lobbyist NRA; Asa Hutchinson, former Congressman/director of DEA and first-ever Under-secretary for Border and Transportation Security.
