Senior Partner Asa Hutchinson is co-teaching a National Security Law class at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) School of Law during the Spring 2011 semester.
The purpose of the course is for students to gain understanding of the many aspects of national security law in the United States. By studying the various agencies and branches of government with authority in the area, students will have an opportunity to learn how national security events, tensions, and developments influence the policy and law not only in this area, but in the areas of business, trade, the Fourth Amendment, immigration, travel, and international relations.
Asa’s experience as Undersecretary for the Department of Homeland Security makes him uniquely qualified to teach this course.
